Many thanks to those who played during the Jam and provided feedback. This patch fixes most of the game breaking bugs and adds a number of quality of life features. I’ve also included a guide on the main itch.io page to help new players.

Changes

• Shadows have been added
• Implemented tall grass shader
• Intractable objects are now highlighted red
• The game now makes sound when you fail to interact with something and lets you know which potion you are missing
• Introduced the tutorial wizard. He is there to make sure you know how to brew potions before you leave the first room
• I’ve tried to make ingredients stand out more
• You now have to manually pick up items
• Added a cat as the driver of the plot
• Added additional animations to the game
• Added text boxes for the cat and wizard
• When you start a new game you are now greeted with the plot
• You now have to be close to a pot to brew potions
• The objective in the bottom right now gives proper hints
• The inventory and potion lists should convey information more clearly now
